Description

Principles and theory of strength training and conditioning with the primary goal of improving performance. Students will apply proper strength training and conditioning exercises based on the goals, movement needs, and physical evaluation of the individual and sport. Content will focus on developing conditioning programs that include needs analyses, valid testing batteries, strength training, injury prevention, and nutrition. Students should expect to be involved in lab-based application of learning that requires physical activity.
