Description
This course is designed to provide the student with a study of 12 lead ECG encountered in preventive and rehabilitative exercise programs. Emphasis will be placed on normal vs. abnormal ECG patterns at rest and during exercise, the effects of medications on the ECG, and the use of ECG in exercise testing and training. The course will provide the student with ECG interpretation skills for preventive and rehabilitative exercise program management. Prerequisites: BIO 153 and 153L. (3 units; As offered)
