Description
Focus on keyboard skills which are essential for the church service. Techniques of hymn-playing, transposition, modulation, improvisation, sight-reading, and solo/anthem accompaniment will be addressed. Course offered as in Independent Study. Service Playing does NOT fulfill the MUS 080 requirement for the major or minor. Prerequisite: MUS 124 and 125. Students may repeat the course for credit. (1 unit; Independent Study)
