Description
Chamber Orchestra provides opportunities for preparation and performance of classical repertoire primarily for strings. Ensembles rehearse weekly, are provided coaching, and present performances of the music studied. The course is open to all music majors and to non-music majors by instructor permission. Students must have sophomore status and prior experience to take Upper Division ensembles. Students must be enrolled in at least one ensemble for full credit each semester. Additional ensembles may be taken for zero (0) units. May be repeated for a maximum of twelve (12) units. Prerequisite: MUS 095. Concurrent Requisite: MUS 072, 079, 080, 081, 082, 083, 084, 085, 086, 087, 088, 089, 460, 461, 462, 463, 464, 465, 466, 467, 468, or 469. (0-1 units; Fall/Spring)
