Description
A Level II course in the nursingmajor where there is application of nursing theory-based services for young,middle, and older adults. Acute and chronic issues of health integration and themes of collaboration/communication, critical thinking, teaching-learning, change-persistence and leading-following in nursing services are emphasized. Focus is on collaborative services with health promotion/disease prevention as well as themedicalmanagement of common acute and chronic illnesses in a variety of settings.Nine (9) hours/week practicum. Prerequisites: NUR 201, 215, 225, 235; Co-requisites: NUR 255, 260, 261, 275. (3 units; Spring)
