Description

The practicum experience focuses on application of theory to fulfill the FNP role for assessment, diagnosis, planning, and management of patients within a primary care setting. Emphasis will be placed on health promotion, simple acute and stable chronic diseased of childbearing and childrearing families. Requires 135 hours of supervised clinical practice with a preceptor. Prerequisite: NUR 555, 558, and 560. Concurrent Requisite: NUR 571. (3 units; As offered)
