Description
This course focuses on an overview of the role of the FNP with an emphasis on the healthcare needs of the family unit in order to improve patient outcomes. Content will focus on primary care of the pediatric population with attention to health promotion, illness prevention, and management of common developmental, behavioral, acute, and chronic health problems. Prerequisite: NUR 571 and 571P (3 units; As Offered)
