Description
This practicum course is designed for non-APRN direct care providers to expand clinical knowledge and proficiency in their current practice area. Under the direction of a nursing faculty member, students will be placed with a graduate prepared preceptor in the clinical setting. Students will provide direct patient care to patients, families and communities, collaborate with interprofessional teams, improve patient services, and implement evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes. Requires 90 hours of supervised clinical practice with a preceptor. (2 units; Fall/Spring/Summer)
