Description
This course prepares the student for safe and effective application of therapeutic modalities for patient treatment interventions. Mechanisms of action, indications, precautions, contraindications, and treatment procedures utilizing physical agents and soft tissue mobilization are covered. Manual traction, joint mobilization, and taping are introduced. Pain and sensory data collection systems are included. Developing skill competency for physical agents and soft tissue mobilization are emphasized.
