Description

This course studies major works in Latin American literature written from the nineteenth century to present times. Emphasis is placed on literary movements and genres that came to life during these centuries, among them: Modernism, Postmodernism, Revolutionary Narratives, Indigenous Novels, and Vanguard Poetry. Prerequisite: SPA 223 or 233. (3 units; Multicultural; Fall even years)
