Android Device Settings

These steps may vary depending on your version of Android. Check with your device manufacturer or wireless carrier to determine the exact steps for setting up an Exchange Active Sync (EAS) account.

1. Open Settings. 
2. Select Accounts.
3. Select Add Account.
4. Select Microsoft Exchange.
5. Enter your email address and password.
            • Email - for example cbu.student@calbaptist.edu 
              • Password - Use the password that you use to access your account.
              • Select Sign in
              
• Enter your Username.
                      
• For student - id#@calbaptist.edu
                      
• For staff/faculty - your 8 character username followed by @calbaptist.edu
                              • If needed Exchange Server is: outlook.office365.com.
7. Select your sync and push settings as preferred.
8. Select Next to give to the account a description, for example CBU Mail
9. Select Done to complete the email setup and start using your account.

iPhone/iPad Settings

These steps may vary depending on your version of IOS. Check with your device manufacturer or wireless carrier to determine the exact steps for setting up an Exchange Active Sync (EAS) account.

1. If this is the first e-mail account on this iPhone, iPad tapMail.
       • Otherwise, tap Settings>Mail >Add Account.
2. Select Microsoft Exchange.
         • Enter the following account information.
              • Email - Type your full email address, for example cbu.student@calbaptist.edu
              • Description (Optional) – enter a description of the account, for example CBU Mail.
              • Select Next on the upper right corner of the screen.
              • Enter your password.
              • Select Next on the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Select Next on the upper right corner of the screen.
4. Choose the type of information you want to synchronize. By default Mail, Contacts, Calendar, 
    Reminds, and Notes are all turned on. To turn off synchronization for a type of information, tap 
    and slide the switch to OFF.
5. Tap Save

Windows Phone Settings

These steps may vary depending on your Windows OS version. Check with your wireless carrier or product manual to determine the exact steps for setting up an Exchange Active Sync (EAS) account.

1. Open your device’s settings
2. Go to Emails + Accounts
3. Tap Add an account and then the Outlook option
4. Enter the below information and tap Sign in:
        
Email= your full email address (ex. jdoe@calbaptist.edu)
        
Password= your CBU password
        
Username= your CBU username (ex. jdoe)
        
Domain= CBU
5. The Sign in should fail. Tap Advanced and enter the remaining information below: 
        
Server= lancermail.calbaptist.edu
        
Server requires encrypted (SSL) connection= On
6. Tap Sign in and finish by selecting what you would like synchronized.

Blackberry Settings

These steps may vary depending on your Blackberry OS version. Check with your wireless carrier or product manual to determine the exact steps for setting up an Exchange Active Sync (EAS) account.

1. Open your device's settings.
2. Tap Accounts
3. Tap Add Account
4. Tap Email, Calendar and Contacts
5. Tap Advanced
6. Enter the below information if applicable and tap Next:
        • Description - your description of this account
        • Domain - leave blank
        • Username: 
               • For students - id#@calbaptist.edu
               • For staff/faculty - your 8 character username follows by @calbaptist.edu
        • Email address - your full email address (ex. cbu.student@calbaptist.edu)
        • Password - your CBU password
        • Server address - outlook.office365.com
