CBU Student Health Center

The Health Center is a part of the CBU Wellness Center located on Monroe Street next to the Health Science Campus. The goal of the Wellness Center is to provide effective health, wellness, and counseling services that promote academic and personal success.

The Health Center is available to all members of the campus community. To help maintain a healthy campus environment, Students are encouraged to visit the Student Health Center at the onset of illness symptoms and other health-related concerns. Health Center Staff can address most conditions that are treated in an urgent care facility.

The Health Center is operated in cooperation with Riverside Urgent Care, who provides staffing and insurance billing services.

Health Care professionals are waiting to take care of your health needs in a professional and comfortable facility, designed specifically to meet the needs of the CBU Community. Call 951.552.8811 to book your appointment. However, walk-in visits are still welcome.

CONVENIENT AND EASY:

• No long wait times, same day appointments, and within walking distance
• Accepts all PPO Insurance, including Wellfleet Student (CBU student insurance)
• Accepts state Medi-Cal, IEHP and Molina
• Accepts most local HMO groups including Primecare-Optum, Beaver Medical Group, Pinnacle Medical Group, Prospect Medical Group, Healthy Family Medical Group, Regal Medical Group, All United Medical Group, Rios Southwest Medical Group, Loma Linda Medical Group/Faculty Physicians of Loma Linda, Choice Medical Group, Blue Zones Medical Group, Community Alliance Medical Group
• Accepts Kaiser Permanente Health Plans
• Accepts TriCare and Veterans Affairs Insurance
• For students without accepted health insurance plans, the cash rate for initial visits is $23.

TB Tests, Sick Visits, Injury Visits, Annual Physical Exam, Immunizations, Medication Refills, Minor Burns, On-Site Laboratory, Breathing Treatments, Suspected Sprain or Fracture, Work or Sports Physicals and much more.

EXTENDED HOURS AND FURTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AT RIVERSIDE URGENT CARE

We understand that sometimes things happen during off hours, and we are excited to be able to offer quality care and coverage at Riverside Urgent Care: La Sierra located at 3480 La Sierra, Riverside, CA 92503. They are open Monday-Sunday from 9AM-9PM. They will accept all the same insurance groups giving our students further coverage.

TELEMEDICINE VIDEO VISITS

Don’t feel well enough to go into the clinic? We are proud to offer Telemedicine, the health care practice of treating patients remotely when the provider and patient are not physically present with each other using telecommunications technology.

Telemedicine supports traditional in-person care. It doesn’t replace it. It provides appointment flexibility for follow-up visits, renewal of prescriptions, check-ups, and check-ins when necessary.
