Need to Change Your License Plate on Your Parking Permit

Campus Parking Map

The Campus Parking map depicts the assigned permitted parking for staff, students, and faculty.

California Baptist University (CBU) offers an array of parking for staff, students, and faculty. All vehicles, including motorcycles operated on campus must be registered with California Baptist University Department of Safety Services. Drivers are expected to comply with the University traffic and safety regulations; non-compliance may result in the suspension of parking and/or driving privileges on campus.  Issuance of a parking permit does not guarantee availability of a parking space.

Temporary day permits are issued from the Adams and Magnolia Welcome Pavilions. The Department of Safety Services may issue temporary permits needed for an extended period of time.

The CBU map below allows individuals to keyword search locations on our campus.

Digital Parking Management

The Department of Safety Services is pleased to announce we are transitioning to an all-new digital parking management system during the summer of 2023.

In addition to enhancing campus safety and security, the new system will:

  • Provide an online portal (accessible via computer and smart phone), which will allow users to register vehicles and pay/appeal citations;
  • Streamline the vehicle registration experience and equitably distribute parking availability;
  • Support enforcement of the CBU Vehicle Code with state-of-the art fixed and mobile Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology;
  • Enable Safety Services to monitor all vehicles coming and going from campus;
  • Identify vehicles that are registered with CBU; and
  • Allow Safety Services personnel to quickly respond to vehicles prohibited from being on campus.

To provide a safe environment for learning, Safety Services endeavors to minimize risks to the University community, deter criminal activity, document unacceptable behavior, encourage traffic safety and efficient use of parking resources, provide for the orderly occurrence of pre-planned events and effectively manage serious or emergency situations.
